Susan is passionate about ensuring clients understand their options so they can make the best decisions for their retirement living and aged care solutions.
She started her career in the corporate world, working initially as an Engineer, Project manager and Product manager. She then decided she was ready for a change, wanting to work with and help people on a one-to-one basis. So she re-trained and has been working as a Financial Planner since 2011, specialising in Aged Care and Retirement clients, launching AgeWise Financial Planning in 2018. Susan’s Financial Planning qualifications include a Diploma of Financial Services (Financial Planning), an Advanced Diploma of Financial Services (Financial Planning) and she is a Certified Financial Planner (CFP®). She has also successfully passed the FASEA Financial Adviser exam and, just for fun, has a Bachelor of Engineering degree and a Masters in Business Administration (MBA). She is also a member of the Aged Care Guru’s adviser network and is an accredited Retirement Living + Aged Care Specialist.
